Over Presidents Day weekend/Valentines Day we went over to Bend with Jeff's family for a few days. There are few places we love more when we want to relax in the winter (and summer)! Terry, Susie, and I cross-country skiied up to Tumalow Falls, which was a bit of a workout, but spectacular once we made it to the iced-over falls. I still love downhill skiing, but it was great to have some variety. Jeff, Phil, and Katie snowboarded at Bachelor...something Jeff always has to do at LEAST once every year now that he's a regular at Mt. Hood Meadows. ;-) We always love the sun, snow, and dry weather of Bend, and it was fun catching up with family. P.S. Terry--killer hat.
