Over MLK weekend, Jeff and I went with our friends, Pete and Maggie, up to Birch Bay to stay with Maggie's parents for a few days. They live right by the ocean and only 20 minutes from Canada. We had such a great time! On Sunday we went skiing/snowboarding at Mt. Baker. The weather was warm and sunny all day long; at some points we were wearing t-shirts! Amazing. We also did some wine-sampling, hottubbing, relaxing, walking along the beach, and lots and lots of eating!! What an awesome weekend with good friends.

Wine, relaxing, husband, eating. Sounds like the perfect weekend to me! What? Who is talking? I know, you can't see me because my hair is TOO DARK because I am TOO POOR to get it highlighted by my awesome stylist Kelly!!! You know it's a bad economy when your nurse friends are practically unemployed! BUT, I am coming in in march no matter what because I have to look cute for Vegas in April! Seriously Kel, I will be coming in soon ... I have not abandoned you! ~ Jess
